Santa Clítoris

Santa Clítoris documenta la lucha de tres colectivos feministas costarricenses que trabajan de distintas formas para exigir sus derechos. Luchando ante como son tratados en nuestro país temáticas que tienen que ver con el derecho a decidir sobre nuestros propios cuerpos, la aún presente discriminación hacia las mujeres, el derecho al aborto legal y la lucha por un estado laico, entre otros, ponen en evidencia que en Costa Rica existe una forma alternativa de hacer feminismo.

La Tule, La Uve y Las Caracolas, son tres colectivos conformados por feministas jóvenes que buscan visibilizar, con la creatividad corporal y el arte comunitario como herramienta, las problemáticas sociales que se viven en Costa Rica.

Santa Clítoris documents the struggle of three Costa Rican feminist groups that work in different ways to demand their rights. Fighting before how thematic issues that deal with the right to decide on our own bodies are treated in our country, the still present discrimination against women, the right to legal abortion and the struggle for a secular state, among others, highlight that in Costa Rica there is an alternative way of doing feminism.

La Tule, La Uve and Las Caracolas, are three groups made up of young feminists who seek to make visible, with body creativity and community art as a tool, the social problems experienced in Costa Rica.
