Cuando terminé esta serie de piezas de gran formato en madera tallada y pintada, y me paré entre ellas, me di cuenta que la proporción entre el espectador y las esculturas asemejaba la proporción entre niño y adulto. Estas obras son signos, híbridos entre humanos y plantas que representan al emblemático cuerpo femenino. La mirada es como la de un niño hacia la divinidad materna. Las formas son sensuales y rebosantes; los colores, deslumbrantes y cautivadores. Juntas, las piezas constituyen una tribu, creando un espacio imaginario, sagrado.Lezlie Milson, 2014.

When I finished this series of large-format pieces in carved and painted wood, and stood between them, I realized that the ratio between the viewer and the sculptures resembled the ratio between child and adult. These works are signs, hybrids between humans and plants that represent the emblematic female body. The gaze is like that of a child towards the maternal divinity. The shapes are sensual and overflowing; the colors, dazzling and captivating. Together, the pieces constitute a tribe, creating an imaginary, sacred space. Lezlie Milson, 2014
