De colores, mujeres y lucha. Por Myriam Díaz

Desde hace tiempo vengo pensando en todas esas mujeres que interpelan a la sociedad con sus luchas… A las que buscan a sus hijos desaparecidos, a las que tuvieron que parir en cautiverio; a las mujeres que dedican su vida a buscar a sus nietos y las que buscan a sus hijas víctimas de trata. A aquellos que eligieron cambiar su sexo, convirtiéndose en verdaderas mujeres, enfrentando al patriarcado y a la sociedad en su conjunto.
A todas las mujeres que pelean día a día por la igualdad de derechos y exigen ser respetadas en sus ideas y valoradas, no como objetos de consumo, sino como individuos plenos y capaces de transformar la historia.
Esta muestra es un homenaje para todas ellas.
Of colors, women and struggle
Series of paintings made in 2017-2018
For a long time I have been thinking about all those women who challenge society with their struggles… Those who are looking for their disappeared children, those who had to give birth in captivity; to the women who dedicate their lives to looking for their grandchildren and those who look for their daughters who are victims of trafficking. To those who chose to change their sex, becoming true women, facing patriarchy and society as a whole.
To all the women who fight every day for equal rights and demand to be respected for their ideas and valued, not as objects of consumption, but as full individuals capable of transforming history.
This exhibition is a tribute to all of them.

Biografía de Myriam Díaz
Vive en Buenos Aires, realizó estudios en la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes "Prilidiano Pueyrredón” "Fernando Fader" y Concurrió a los talleres de los artistas Carlos Gorriarena, Aurelio Macchi y Eugenio Cutica. Realizó el Postítulo de “Lenguajes artísticos contemporáneos y escuela” del Cepa.
Sus obras por lo general son pinturas de vibrantes colores, trabaja siempre en series sobre diferentes temas.

Biography of Myriam Díaz
She lives in Buenos Aires, studied at the National School of Fine Arts "Prilidiano Pueyrredón" "Fernando Fader" and attended the workshops of the artists Carlos Gorriarena, Aurelio Macchi and Eugenio Cutica. She completed the Postgraduate of "Contemporary artistic languages and school" of Cepa.
Her works are usually vibrantly colored paintings, she always works in series on different themes.
